Several Championship clubs are keen to sign a Newcastle United outcast this summer.
The Magpies could be able to raise some transfer funds by selling a midfielder who wants to leave the club.
Per Football Insider, Middlesbrough, Millwall and West Brom are battling it out to sign United midfielder Isaac Hayden.
The 28-year-old is not wanted by manager Eddie Howe at present, as he does not fit into his plans.
Hayden was expected to spend the whole season on loan with Norwich City in the Championship last season.
However, he suffered an injury that meant he only played 14 times for the Canaries.
