Newcastle United have offered Bruno Guimaraes a significant pay rise to keep him at the club.
The Brazilian is being linked to bigger teams such as Barcelona and Liverpool in the off-season.
However, the Magpies have designs on being a trophy winning team, and are already in the Champions League for next season.
Per The Sun, the Saudi Private Investment Fund will allow the club to offer Guimaraes 200,000-a-week to convince him to stay.
The midfielder is now close to signing a long-term extension to stay at the club for the foreseeable future.
Guimaraes is happy at St. James' Park, while the wage rise would reward him for his great season and a half since arriving from Lyon.
