Newcastle United are looking at Espanyol striker Raul de Tomas.
The Spaniard has been very impressive in the past two years, which even led to rumours of a move to Arsenal in January.
According to transfer specialist Ekrem Konur, Newcastle have put de Tomas on their shortlist of forwards for this summer.
They are aware that he will not come cheap, as he has a £60 million release clause.
Italian giants Juventus are among the teams who are also looking at the forward.
De Tomas managed 17 goals in La Liga last term, with many believing he would score even more in a top side.
