Newcastle United are finalising a deal to sign Harvey Barnes from Leicester City this summer.
The Magpies are very close to acquiring the attacker, who did not want to stay at the Foxes after their relegation to the Championship.
Per the London Evening Standard, Barnes is set to have a medical at Newcastle in the coming days.
He will then sign on the dotted line, with the Magpies forced to sell a first teamer to balance the books.
With Allan Saint-Maximin heading to Saudi Arabia for a mega fee, Barnes has an immediate place in the team.
The Magpies had also wanted to sign James Maddison from Leicester, but he chose Tottenham instead.
