Newcastle United are ready to move for Real Sociedad striker Alexander Isak.
Newcastle are preparing a club record bid for Isak, reports Luke Edwards at The Telegraph.
While no fee is mentioned, it is understood that it would eclipse the £40m the club paid for Joelinton in 2019.
Isak was heavily linked with Arsenal in January, but turned down the chance to move to the Premier League.
Should the 22-year-old Swedish international opt for St James' Park, he would join Bruno Guimaraes in favouring the Toon over the Gunners.
