A Newcastle United return for Allan Saint-Maximin cannot be ruled out.
The French winger has left Newcastle for Al-Ahli, signing a four-year contract with the Saudi Pro League club.
Like Newcastle, Al-Ahli count on Saudi's Public Investment Fund as part financial backers, so opening the door to a loan return.
Saint-Maximin said yesterday: "I really want to express my gratitude to Al Ahli Football Club who have done so much for me and my family by offering us this opportunity and this really challenging project in a Saudi League that gets more and more competitive."
The winger joins Al-Ahli for a fee of 20m.
