Newcastle United star Sandro Tonali could be in hot water regarding betting allegations.
Tonali is one of several players in Italy who have been accused of excessive gambling, including on football games.
Tonali will meet with an Italian prosecutor next week regarding the case, per Italian newspaper Il Messaggero.
Tonali will speak with federal prosecutor Giuseppe Chine to try and stem the damage of allegations surrounding him.
His lawyers have already met with Chine and negotiated the terms of the interview.
Tonali is facing a long ban for betting on football, but pleading guilty may reduce his sentence.
