Newcastle United striker Callum Wilson and Tottenham goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario exchanged barbs after last night's clash.
Wilson took aim at Vicario after a row at the final whistle of Tottenham's 4-1 win before Vicario launched his response on social media.
"There's a way to win, isn't there?" Wilson said to Sky Sports.
"I think we saw it in the week when Everton were winning and (Jordan) Pickford was messing around.
"The goalkeeper [Vicario] starts pulling faces and messing around and it's just a lack of respect, I thought.
"But I said my piece, we're grown men and we move on."
Online, Vicario responded: "Respect is given - to everyone that respects me."
