Newcastle United forward Callum Wilson has hailed Anthony Gordon's impact at the club.
The winger has been a revelation since the start of this Premier League season.
While Gordon struggled last term, he is now starting to look like the player that Newcastle chose to splash big money on from Everton.
Wilson, after victory over Burnley, told the Footballer's Football Podcast: "Anthony Gordon got man-of-the-match and I think it was well deserved -definitely.
As somebody who wasn't even starting the game, come on through injury and then to put in the performance that he did shows his mentality.
"I think it's credit to him. Staying focussed, staying prepared, he come on and changed the game.
Got himself a goal, got himself an assist so that shows the strength in depth we've now got in the squad which is ultimately going to lead to us becoming a successful football club."
