Newcastle winger Anthony Gordon says he is relishing the winter break.
Gordon admits he feels his body needs to rest.
"I'm desperate," Gordon told NUFC TV. "I'm not going to lie to you. I can't wait. I can't remember when we last had full days off. It's been a long season. We have had a lot of games, but now we get a little break so I'm going to enjoy it.
"I'll say I'll have a little break, but I'll probably be training a little bit because I don't want to come back unfit.
"It won't be too much of a break, but it's more a mental relief just to get away from football and spend some time with family."
