KUALA LUMPUR: Housing and Local Government Minister Nga Kor Ming (pic) has accepted the criticism regarding the incident that occurred during the recent “I Lite U” pre-launch press conference.

Nga posted on his Facebook today that he is aware that there may have been an error during the incident and accepts it with an open heart.

As such, he is willing to meet with the media representatives involved soon so that the matter can be properly resolved.

“As a leader, I’d like to emphasise that I have always respected media freedom and never intended to offend anyone, especially journalists who are the pillars of information for the Madani Government.

“My objective is simply to build, together, a multi-racial Malaysia that is inclusive, progressive and to always uphold the country’s dignity at the international level,” he said.

He also expressed his appreciation for the support of the media, which continues to play an important role in delivering the ministry’s initiatives to the people.
