Kota Kinabalu: SME Association of Sabah Founding President Prof. Datuk Foo Ngee Kee hopes allocations for utility development, food security and human capital development will be raised in the next State Budget.

While he welcomed the State Budget 2024, which targets many economic sectors with several measures to aid Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME), he hoped that resources for the forms of assistance would be raised to accommodate to diverse conditions.

“The provision of RM2.41 million to have inclusive development, through the Ministry of Rural Development to produce more local handicrafts and food items under the “One District One Product” programme, is to be encouraged and further developed,” he said in a statement recently.
