Kota Kinabalu: Motorists in the city need clarification with the shifting system employed by City Hall for parking fee compounds, claimed Sabah West Coast Smart Consumers Association president David Chan.
Chan said that the coupon system to pay for the compound issued for “unpaid time” seems to have changed without any notification by the operators.
“Motorists who usually paid up the compound for the unpaid parking time using the value of the coupons within a week, now are being charged RM10 fine immediately,” he said in a statement, Thursday.
