Kota Kinabalu: An NGO, Pertubuhan Penyatuan Islam Sabah (PPIS), plans to introduce an Islamic funeral management scheme to benefit the Muslim community in Sabah.
Its Chairman Datuk Nani Sakam said such scheme would further facilitate families who are grieving or in shocked state when their loved ones passed away.
He said it would cover funeral expenses and ensure smooth implementation of the funeral procedures and rituals for the deceased.
