Kota Kinabalu: A 44-year-old woman who posted abusive comments on Facebook that hurt the feelings of others, claimed trial.
Hashimah Hasbullah, who is Secretary General of Consumers Front of Sabah (CFOS), made the plea before Sessions Court Judge Marlina Ibrahim after the charge was read to her on Monday.
Hashimah allegedly posted the abusive comments on Facebook - in which the comments were read by Bharu Sam Bakri at 6.27pm on Feb 18 at the Beaufort police station.
The comments were made to hurt the feelings of others.

The court set Oct 16 for pre-trial case management and released Hashimah on a bail of RM4,000 in two local sureties and one of the surety must be her husband.
The court also ordered Hashimah to surrender her passport after returning from Umrah.
Earlier, Deputy Public Prosecutor Afiqah Alya applied for another date and offered bail of RM10,000 in two local sureties.
However, counsel Azhier Farhan who defended Hashimah, asked for the bail sum to be reduced as his client did not have a fix income.
Azhier also informed the court that his client has no risk of absconding as her husband is a senior police officer.
He added that during investigation, Hashimah had given fully cooperation to the police.
Meanwhile outside the court, Hashimah informed that previously she was arrested under the Sedition Act.
