Nice have announced the release of Kasper Schmeichel.
The former Leicester City captain has seen his contract terminated by mutual consent.
It means the veteran goalkeeper is now a free agent and can negotiate terms with anyother club.
Schmeichel has been linked with a return to England, though it's suggested contact has been made with FC Copenagen.
