Florent Ghisolfi is set to be confirmed as new Roma sporting director.
Ghisolfi is leaving Nice to take up the Giallorossi job.
So says Nice president Jean-Pierre Rivere, who stated: "Ghisolfi is leaving for Rome, we are happy for him."
Ghisolfi is expected in the capital by the end of the month.
The Frenchman will work closely with Giallorossi coach Daniele de Rossi, who is eager to see major changes to the squad this summer.
