Arsenal striker Nicolaj Moller admits he enjoyed his first year with the Gunners.
The Swede is currently on-loan in Holland with Dens Bosch, having joined Arsenal in 2020 from Malmo.
He told Voetbalzone: It's hard to find the right words for that period, it was really beautiful. Although Arsenal is a big club, everything there feels familiar. Everyone looks out for each other, especially when you come from abroad you get all the attention.
"It was completely new to me how professional everything was there, almost on an alien level.
I started playing matches almost immediately after my arrival. As a result, my focus was immediately on football. I also performed well and was comfortable in my own skin. I was often allowed to train with the seniors, so that was of course fantastic to experience.
Nobody can take that experience away from me. It felt very special to be on the field with players that I always looked up to. As a young player you learn so much from that."
On manager Mikel Artet, he adds He demands the right discipline from everyone, but also takes the time to improve the smallest details in the game of his players. He understands the game so well. Sometimes I had the feeling that he already knew what was going to happen before it actually happened. Mikel is a really great manager."
