Nicolo Zaniolo is likely to have played his last game for Aston Villa.
On-loan from Galatasaray, the midfielder will miss the season finale against Crystal Palace due to injury.
The metatarsal injury means Zaniolo is also out of Italy's Euros campaign.
With Villa, he made a total of 25 Premier League appearances and scored two goals.
Villa aren't expected to pursue a permanent deal for Zaniolo, who now favours a return home to Italy.
