12 hours after a faltering midnight launch, there’s Nintendo Switch 2 stock all over the place. However, same-day collections are starting to run out.
Right now, Argos looks like your best bet, but not for long. It looks like Argos still has consoles, with same-day click-and-collect available nationwide, but in some locations, you may have to pick up your console at 4pm today or 9am tomorrow. In many Argos locations, the console has sold out.
Amazon launched its stock at 8am this morning, but Currys has since run dry. After cancelling orders last week, Game has dropped some consoles. It’s not just the obvious retailers; EE has launched bundles too.
However, things are really starting to thin out. Reliable sources like Smyths Toys have just run out of consoles, and there’s no more stock at Currys or Asda.

Though many Argos locations have stock right now – you can order it online now and grab a console before work – some won’t let you pick up the stock until the afternoon.
For example, here in London, you can collect a Switch 2 right now at Old Street Argos, but you’ll have to wait until 4pm at Shoreditch Sainsbury’s. The two locations are just 500m apart. You might have to travel a bit if you want a console right now.

Unlike Smyths Toys or Currys, there was no midnight launch party. You’ll need to set an early alarm instead. The good thing is that you’ll be able to pick a console up from your nearest Argos straight away and play Mario Kart before breakfast.

It’s just gone midnight and, well, no one has dropped any new stock online yet. Smyths Toys is shutting its doors at 12.30am, and it might list consoles after that.
Currys is still doing its thing in-store at its Oxford Street shop, and the usual suspects like Amazon, Argos and the My Nintendo Store are keeping us waiting.
