
Kota Kinabalu: The National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (Niosh) will be providing some 5,000 higher education students a free Safety Passport training programme emphasising the B40 group.
Deputy Minister of Human Resources, Mustapha Sakmud said the programme is meant to improve the State’s level of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) and subsequent reduction in workplace accidents.
He suggested the programme be focused on schools and tahfiz’s in the rural areas of Sabah to further benefit the target group.
