“The implementation of a 199MW hybrid solar project, the construction of a hydroelectric power station in Ulu Padas, and the launch of a 100MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Lahad Datu are clear indicators of the government’s commitment to ensuring a more stable electricity supply across the state,” he said.
He stressed that Hajiji’s ongoing efforts were proof that the government’s plans for the people were concrete and not mere promises.
“Our Chief Minister delivers, and this is what we need. The people of Sabah want leaders who are attentive to their concerns and who can bring real, significant change to the state.
“He is not pleading for sympathy, as alleged, but instead is being transparent and realistic in ensuring the continuity of Sabah’s development,” Nizam said.
He also noted that state’s progress cannot be achieved within a single term and requires political stability for long-term success.
“Development and progress are not things that can be accomplished in just one term. They require continuity and political stability to achieve even greater success,” he said.
Nizam underscored Hajiji’s leadership qualities, describing him as a caring leader who understands the people’s mandate as the key to ensuring effective governance.
“The reality is that under Chief Minister Hajiji’s leadership, Sabah has seen significant progress, and these efforts must continue without political disruptions that only serve to harm the people.
“What Sabah needs now is not baseless polemics but stability and continuity in a leadership that has already proven its success,” he said.
