MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Monday clarified that no arrest warrant has been issued against Sen. Rodante Marcoleta.
“As of now, the PNP has not received an official communication regarding a warrant,” PNP public information chief Col. Allen Rae Co said in a press briefing in Camp Crame.
“Once we receive a warrant from a competent authority, we will implement,” he added.
Marcoleta earlier said that he got information that an arrest warrant will be issued against him in connection with a plunder case over his alleged non-disclosure of campaign funds.
