KOTA KINABALU: No new regulations have been made regarding the operating hours of Kota Kinabalu Central Market, said Mayor Datuk Seri Sabin Samitah.

“The operating hours of Kota Kinabalu Central Market will continue as usual, from 5:30am to 6pm,” he said in a statement on Sunday.

However, he stated that traders will be allowed to prepare their stalls starting from 5am and will be ready to open to the public from 5:30am.

“Adhering to the opening and closing times of the market is important to ensure that the market's operations run smoothly, in a controlled and orderly manner,” he said.
