With traffic congestion being as bad as it currently is, we should all be more responsible road users and not cause inconvenience to others.
Things such as illegal parking on the side of the road as well as double parking can cause road users delay and lead to an unnecessary build up of traffic.
However, it seems that there is no end to this as recently, the coach driver of Johor Darul Ta’zim FC was accused of double parking his coach on the side of a busy road to go have breakfast. This led to a build up of traffic.
In several pictures and videos which have been circulating on social media, it was reported that the coach had been parked at its spot for over half an hour.
The coach driver was spotted talking to other people casually as cars struggled to overtake it. He even went to grab breakfast from a stall!
Other road users were forced to have to overtake the coach dangerously by using the other lane.
The incident allegedly happened on one of the roads around Hospital Kuala Lumpur.
Irresponsible behaviour
Images and videos of the incident have since gone viral on social media. Netizens called on the authorities to punish the coach driver whilst some users even tagged Johor crown prince Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim (TMJ) to punish or talk some sense into the coach driver.
“Those who drive the coaches of JDT, please be aware of your actions whether it is locally or away. Don’t think that just because you win football matches and is under TMJ means that you can be arrogant at the places of others.”
One user tagged PDRM traffic’s Twitter account and urged them to summon the bus.
Another user tagged TMJ and asked him to talk some sense into the JDT coach driver who doesn’t seem to have much common sense.
