No flights were found during MYAirline’s first day ticket sale

[ UPDATE 26/11/2022 10:30 ] MYAirline has restored its booking engine and passengers can now book flights for the month of December 2022 and January 2023. More details here.

MYAirline, the latest low-cost carrier in Malaysia, was supposed to start its first ticket sales at midnight tonight (26th November 2022). The airline is starting its service from Kuala Lumpur (KLIA2) to Kuching, Kota Kinabalu and Langkawi from 1st December. As potential travellers head to their website, it appears that no flights were found for the three routes.

We tried searching for a return ticket from KLIA2 to Kuching, KLIA2 to Kota Kinabalu but no flights were found. We did the same for KLIA2 to Langkawi as well and it also yield no results. We tried to register an MYAirline account but we still haven’t received the verification email.

To recap, MYAirline is starting its commercial domestic service next month with two or three daily flights to Langkawi, Kuching and Kota Kinabalu. As part of its introductory promo, one-way all-in ticket from KLIA2 to Langkawi starts from RM48 while KLIA2 to Kuching starts from RM68. Meanwhile, a one-way all-in ticket from KLIA to Kota Kinabalu starts from RM88. Like any low-cost carrier, passengers will have to pay extra for checked-in luggage, meals and preferred seating.

Frustrated users have complained about the non-existent flights on MYAirline’s Facebook post. Some even tried to use MYAirline’s online chat but the virtual queue is more than 490 people long and there are 0 active agents available. Have you manage to find any flights on MYAirline?
