PENAMPANG: The Parti Kesejahteraan Demokratik Masyarakat (KDM) is confident of winning at least 15 state assembly seats in the election expected to be held in less than a year from now.

Its President, Datuk Peter Anthony, said it is not impossible for this party, established just a few years ago, to win that many seats, especially in areas with a majority of Sabah’s indigenous population.

KDM, he said, has strong support in state constituencies located under the Kudat and Tenom parliaments, as well as Kota Marudu.
