KENINGAU: Parti Bumiputera Perkasa Malaysia (Putra) stands firm with all Malaysians in expressing deep sorrow and anger over the tragic death of Zara Qairina Mahathir.

Sabah Putra Chief Coordinator, Jeffrus Maimin Rijan in his statement here also strongly condemned this incident and there is no room for forgiveness for those who persecute or silence the people from demanding the truth.

“Schools are not arenas for abuse. Educational institutions are not fields for character and body assassination. If it is true that there are those who protect the perpetrators because of status or connections, that is not only a crime, but a betrayal of the country,” he said.

“Immediate action without favoritism, the perpetrators, the perpetrator’s assistants, or anyone who hide evidence must be brought to justice.

“I also request that the entire boarding and residential school system be reformed immediately so that it does not happen again,” he said.
