Kota Kinabalu: Zahid who is also Umno President, reminded that GRS not sabotage BN Sabah in this GE15 and the same goes for BN Sabah because they are siblings in a family in Sabah.
He said Umno Kimanis Divisional Chief Datuk Mohamad bin Alamin would be the BN candidate if all agreed.
“There is also a prominent politician (Datuk Seri Anifah Aman) from Kimanis, he has met me and stated his support to Datuk Moh as the BN candidate, and he (Anifah) will not contest.
“Hence, I will tell the PM that there is a suitable place for him at the national level (Federal level). This is the negotiation so as to create a balance between Moh and Anifah because the most important thing is that the people’s problems in Sabah could be addressed immediately in order to have political stability for the sake of people’s wellbeing that will benefit the BN and GRS,” he said.
Mohd Alamin thanked the Prime Minister for approving funds for an upgrading road project at Jalan Bukit Manggis for 20km and another project of building a second mosque in Bongawan.
He said RM127 million has been allocated for the upgrading road project at Jalan Bukit Manggis where many villagers residing near the area have been waiting quite some time to enjoy better road conditions.
While the second project to build a second mosque in Bongawan involved RM4 million as currently there is only one mosque. “As the Education Deputy Minister and incumbent Kimanis MP, RM46 million has been spent to upgrade dilapidated schools in Kimanis parliamentary seat,” Mohamad said.
