Noel Gallagher hints at Oasis shows in summer 2027 as fans continue to wait for news

Noel Gallagher has hinted Oasis are lining up shows for summer 2027.
Amid rumours that the Britpop legends are reportedly set to announce Oasis’ next tour in a matter of days, the Wonderwall hitmaker appeared on talkSPORT’s Drive show on Wednesday (02.09.26) and addressed the word on the street.
When quizzed by presenter Andy Goldstein, he laughed: “It’s Liam, isn’t it?"
Noel quipped: “He’s not into it. He’s not into Oasis anymore.”
The DJ then informed Noel that his sibling, the group's frontman, was jokingly planning to leave social media.
He replied: “Well, then there must be something happening."
Before he teased: “Let’s put it this way: there’s no football tournament on next year, so we’ve got to do something in the summer, right?”
After their sold-out Oasis Live '25 reunion tour last year, their first in 16 years, rumours have been rife that the siblings were gearing up to hit the road again, with the Gallaghers doing little to dispel the speculation.
According to the Daily Mail, the brothers will formally announce their new tour dates next week.
A source told the newspaper: “The new tour has been in the making for some time and now they’re ready to get going with it.
“Unlike last time there’s not such a panic about whether Liam and Noel will get on, there isn’t the drama around it. It’s just a case of them looking forward to getting on stage.
“Oasis-mania is coming back!”
The report comes amid rumours that Oasis are gearing up to return to Knebworth - the site of their two huge concerts in 1996 - for a record-breaking six shows.
There's also reports of a 12-night residency in their home city of Manchester at the Etihad Stadium.
A source previously told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: "Oasis’ schedule is booked. It’s 12 nights at the Etihad over six weeks starting in June.
"They will then play Knebworth six times over a three-week period in September. Dates could be added but for now that’s the master plan."
Prior to their reunion tour, Oasis hadn’t performed together since 2009, when Noel sensationally quit the band following a row with his brother at Paris’ Rock en Seine festival.
Demand for the reunion shows was so overwhelming that Ticketmaster buckled under the strain, triggering a consumer‑protection investigation that forced the company to overhaul how it handles its sales.
