Nottingham Forest boss Steve Cooper says victory over Liverpool last week was proof of their spirit.
Cooper was speaking before Sunday's trip to Arsenal.
He said, "Even before, I said we were on a bad run of results but I've never had to question the sprit or intent from the group.
"But it was great to win. We were striving for it and the quicker we could get it the better. We've quickly learned anything earned in this league is hard to do. A win was one we really needed.
"Even before Sunday I knew it was about what was next and focusing on the coming days and the preparation. I've liked that attitude in the team this week. The idea has to be about striving to improve and work harder."
Cooper added: "We will get judged over the course of time. It was a great win. We are still bottom. We still haven't got enough points or less than we would have liked. Let's not lose sight of that. I don't want to sound negative. That's the realism, when you're in a situation like that you have to fight."
