Nottingham Forest boss Nuno felt they could've pushed Arsenal more in Tuesday's 2-1 defeat at the City Ground.

Gabriel Jesus and Bukayo Saka had the Gunners ahead before Taiwo Awoniyi's late goal for Forest.

Nuno later said: "We were organised and committed to the task. In the first half we were really organised and we blocked the game.

"We missed a bit of the ball and the pressing of Arsenal we could not deal with in the second half.

"Disappointed with the way we conceded, but in the end we tried but we should have done more."

On the Gabriel Jesus' opening goal, he said: "It was a throw in and we should have covered the inside and not allow them to go inside - we should have defended better."

On his players' fitness, Nuno added: Chris Wood was not 100%.

Taiwo Awoniyi is just coming back and we have to minimise his minutes but he did well - surprising he scored but it is a positive.

"Having Anthony Elanga back on the pitch is a positive and we have more options for the future."
