Nottingham Forest head coach Steve Cooper is not an option for Brighton at present.

The Seagulls are scrambling to replace boss Graham Potter, who is now in charge at Chelsea.

Potter has also taken his entire backroom staff with him to the Stamford Bridge stadium club.

Cooper is one of the many names mentioned with respect to the vacancy at Brighton.

His work at Forest has not gone unnoticed, taking them from the relegation zone to promotion in the Championship in less than a season.

However, The Telegraph states he is not a name on Brighton's coaching shortlist.
