Nottingham Forest are in talks to sign Atletico Madrid fullback Renan Lodi.
Lodi spent part of last season on-loan at the City Ground, with a 25m permanent option included. However, the option has since expired.
Forest are now in talks about a new fee for Lodi.
Forest manager Steve Cooper is keen to bring back the Brazilian, though not at Atletico's asking price.
For his part, Lodi is open to re-signing for the Premier League club.
