Nottingham Forest have made an offer for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Giovanni Reyna.
The Athletic says Forest's offer is to take the USA international on-loan to the end of the season with an option to buy.
Reyna has been with Dortmund since 2019 and has a contract expiring in 2025.
In the first half of the season, he has struggled for minutes: only 13 appearances in all competitions, of which only 2 from the start.
Nottingham Forest are currently 16th in the Premier League table after 21 matches, four points above the relegation zone.
