Nottingham Forest manager Steve Cooper expects Everton's 10-point penalty to bring them together.

Cooper was speaking before Saturday's clash with Brighton.

On Everton, he said: "I can't really comment on how it happened and the process, I can't really comment on that. My first thought was it's going to be a tougher game now when it comes round. It'll add to the challenge on playing them so we have to be ready for that."

On Premier League clubs voting to approve loaning players from clubs under the same ownership, Cooper added: "It's one for the board I guess and Ross our sporting director, we're just focused on the players that have been here during international break and the players returning.

"It's not something I've had to think about to be honest."
