Nottingham Forest are pushing to make even more signings this summer.
The newly promoted Premier League outfit are hoping to secure Switzerland international Remo Freuler from Atalanta.
Freuler is a midfielder and a full Swiss international.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the two parties are in contact about agreeing a fee for Freuler.
There has not been an official offer, but Di Marzio believes the 30-year-old midfielder will eventually sign for Forest.
The newly promoted club have already secured the likes of Dean Henderson and Jesse Lingard from Manchester United, along with Neco Williams from Liverpool and Taiwo Awoniyi from Union Berlin.
