
Kota Kinabalu: Warisan lost another elected representative Monday when Petagas assemblyman Datuk Awang Ahmad Sah Sahari announced his decision to quit the party and support Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (Gagasan Rakyat) led by Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor.
“I have been thinking about this for three months before I decided to leave Parti Warisan,” he told a press conference, here, Monday.
Awang Ahmad was Warisan’s Treasurer-General and the party’s Putatan chief.
To date, Warisan has lost 10 assemblymen and has 15 assemblymen left in the 79-seat State Legislative Assembly.
