Friends have urged Mauricio Pochettino to reject any approach from Arsenal about taking the manager's job.
Pochettino is one of the candidates for the Arsenal job after Unai Emery's sacking, but he has apparently been told to hold off by his friends.
The Telegraph reports sources close to Pochettino believe he should take 'a proper break' after his sacking by Tottenham and 'wait for a better job.'
Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, or Manchester United are all possibilities that could have manager vacancies in the future, and Pochettino may want to hold out for them.
Pochettino had been manager of Tottenham since 2014, and after five and a half years in charge he may indeed be wanting an extended rest before taking charge of another big team.
