Former UEFA president Michel Platini has hit back at Manchester City attacker Kevin de Bruyne.

De Bruyne has complained about the Euro2020 draw, claiming "90 per cent" of the groups were already settled before yesterday's lottery.

Platini said, "Among other things, I have chosen the playing cities, but I have nothing to do with the draw.

If the Belgians wanted to play at home, they just had to build their new stadium on time. Brussels is said to have had four games, including an eighth final, but because their stadium has not been built, the games moved to London.

"That De Bruyne is going to complain, then do it to the politicians of his country."
