nubia Malaysia has introduced its latest Neo 5 Max 5G, combining the large display of a tablet, portability of a smartphone, gaming-focused controls, and eye comfort of an e-reader.
For starters, the nubia Neo 5 Max 5G features a 7.5-inch 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED display with up to 1,000 nits brightness, offering 27% more visible area than the standard Neo 5 5G for improved target visibility.
The SGS-certified panel also supports True DC Dimming, hardware-level blue-light reduction, Ambient Light Adaptation, and dedicated Reading and Night modes for greater eye comfort during extended use.
For sustained gaming performance, the smartphone boasts a 30,000mm²+ cooling system with a Dual-Layer Capillary Vapor Chamber and 3D Raised VC Panel, providing a 140% improvement in thermal efficiency.
Powering longer sessions is a 7,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging, Bypass Charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging, while a 90-degree gaming cable design allows comfortable play while charging.
Furthermore, the Neo 5 Max 5G brings dedicated gaming controls, including 990Hz Neo Triggers 5.0 with a 4.7ms response latency, while the NeoTap Esports Touch Algorithm further reduces touch latency.
Under the hood, the smartphone runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset, 256GB UFS 2.2 storage, and the NeoTurbo Engine. Other gaming-focused features include dual symmetric speakers with Dolby Atmos, a Z-Axis Linear Motor for responsive haptic feedback, and a 360° Game Antenna for stable 5G connectivity
