KOTA KINABALU: PKR deputy president Nurul Izzah Anwar said the Unity Government has implemented various reforms and welcomed close cooperation between PKR and its allies in Sabah to maintain political stability.

Speaking at a dinner with Tawau’s Chinese business and community leaders recently, she stressed the importance of engaging local stakeholders to strengthen understanding of MADANI policies and to prepare PKR’s machinery ahead of the upcoming Sabah state election.

Nurul Izzah highlighted PKR’s “Empowering Sabah” mission, including the continuation of the “Sabah Special Allocation” introduced in 2024, under the slogan “Sabah Maju Bersama MADANI, Semporna Makmur Bersama MADANI.”The dinner, hosted by businessman Datuk Lo Fui Ming, was attended by senior PKR leaders including Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari, Datuk Peto Galim, Sim Chon Siang, Sim Tze Tzin, and Datuk Ruji Ubi.
