Morecambe have snapped up Manchester United defender George Tanner.
Tanner has joined League Two side Morecambe on a season-long loan.
Defender Tanner, 19, emerged in the same youth team as Angel Gomes and is poised to make his career debut with The Shrimps.
Morecambe manager Jim Bentley said: "George comes highly rated and will be a good addition to our defensive ranks.
"We are looking forward to working with him over the coming months.'"
