Valencia coach Albert Celades was delighted with his players after their 4-1 rout of Champions League opponents Lille.
Valencia went into the break 1-0 down against Lille at Mestalla on Tuesday night, yet a four-goal swing in the second half saw Celades' side run out as 4-1 winners.
Victor Osimhen gave the French side the lead in the 25th minute before Dani Parejo levelled from the penalty spot 20 minutes into the second half, but a quickfire double from Los Che in the 82nd and 84th minutes saw the game slip away from Lille, who then conceded again right at the end.
Celades declared afterwards: "Up until halfway through, it was an open game.
"We, however, have always sought victory, we have never tired and we have done so knowing how to react to the disadvantage.
"In the first half we didn't do well, in the second part the reaction was fantastic. Winning 4-1 against Lille is not easy."
