  • One Oasis fan lost £1,700 to a ticket scam for the band's reunion tour, part of a worrying trend impacting followers of the Britpop duo.
  • Lloyds Banking Group estimates over £2 million has been lost to Oasis ticket scams, representing 56 per cent of all concert ticket fraud reported to the bank this year.
  • Fans are losing an average of £436 each to these scams. Many are paying well over face value for tickets.
  • Those aged 35-44 are most vulnerable to the scams, and Edinburgh, Warrington, and Manchester have the highest number of victims.
  • Lloyds advises buying tickets only from official retailers and being wary of social media offers. They also suggest considering whether a deal is too good to be true.
