Off Campus Season 2

If you’ve already finished binge-watching the new hockey romance that’s set to take over everyone’s FYP (For Your Page) for the next few weeks, we have some good news for you. Off Campus is returning for season 2, and here’s everything we know about it.

For the uninitiated, Off Campus is based on Elle Kennedy’s hockey romance book series of the same name. Set at the fictional Briar University, it follows an anthology format — each instalment centres on a new couple, while the main characters from other books appear in supporting roles, similar to how Bridgerton handles its rotating leads.

After the phenomenal success of Heated Rivalry, which made hockey romance a cultural phenomenon, Off Campus is another fine addition to the genre, with an impressive 94% score on Rotten Tomatoes.

Is Off Campus renewed for season 2?

Yes, it is. In fact, Prime Video greenlit season 2 back in February 2026, ahead of season 1’s premiere.

“Off Campus captures the kind of emotionally charged, character-driven storytelling that truly resonates with our global Prime Video audience,” said Peter Friedlander, Head of Global Television at Amazon MGM Studios.

He further added, “With its passionate fan base, rich source material, and an incredible creative team bringing Briar U to life, we knew that this series had the depth and momentum to continue beyond its first season.”

Which book is Off Campus season 2 likely to be based on?

The first season of Off Campus is based on The Deal, the first book in the series. It tells the love story of quiet songwriter Hannah Wells (played by Ella Bright) and hockey captain Garrett Graham (played by Belmont Cameli).

If Prime Video is following the order of the books, season 2 should adapt The Mistake, which follows John Logan and Grace Ivers’s romance. The streaming service hasn’t officially confirmed which book it’ll be adapting yet, but the casting decisions (so far) point to it being The Mistake.

In The Mistake, after Logan has a one-night stand with sociology freshman Grace Ivers, he pushes her away, thinking he has feelings for someone else. Eventually, he realises what he’s missing and tries to win back Grace’s affections. Logan also has to make some hard decisions about his future. He can pursue an NHL career after college, but feels an obligation to go home and take care of his troubled father.

However, season 1 also gives Dean Di Laurentis and Allie Hayes a notable amount of screen time and ends on a cliffhanger about their relationship, which points to The Score (the third book) as being a possible contender for season 2’s source material.

Off Campus season 2’s cast

The whole gang is set to return for Off Campus season 2.

We will see Ella Bright as Hannah Wells, Belmont Cameli as Garrett Graham, Mika Abdalla as Allie Hayes, Antonio Cipriano as John Logan, Jalen Thomas Brooks as John Tucker and Stephen Kalyn as Dean Di Laurentis in the next season as well. However, Josh Heuston won’t be returning as Justin Kohl in season 2.

There will also be new additions to the cast.

Fear Street: Prom Queen star India Fowler is joining the show as Grace Ivers, the love interest of John Logan. Two weeks before the first season dropped, the show’s official Instagram revealed India as Grace in a very adorable way. They posted a clip of Cipriano breaking the news to Fowler, inviting her to join the Off Campus cast and crew in Vancouver.

Additionally, Hamilton actor Phillipa Soo is joining the cast. She’ll take on the role of Scarlett, a theatre artist who is guest-directing an original play for the university’s drama department.

Is there a release date for Off Campus season 2?

There’s no official release date confirmed for Off Campus season 2. The filming for season 2 will take place in Vancouver from June to September 2026. In March 2026, Teen Vogue reported that Belmont Cameli and his castmates were undergoing a two-week hockey bootcamp before production for season 2 began. Based on the season 1 timeline, fans are expecting a mid-2027 premiere.
