Permodalan Kedah Berhad (PKB) had the distinct honour of welcoming the first official visit by the Right Honourable YAB Dato’ Seri Haji Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor, Chief Minister of Kedah. This visit marked a momentous occasion in PKB’s journey, as employees and leadership alike were given the rare privilege to engage directly with the state’s highest leadership — a milestone that reflects the growing significance of PKB as a key pillar in Kedah’s economic transformation.
The working visit coincided with the 85th Board of Directors’ Meeting, during which PKB had the opportunity to present strategic updates and progress on current initiatives. More importantly, the session became a powerful platform for the YAB Chief Minister to share his forward-thinking mandate and insights, reinforcing PKB’s role as a proactive agent in realising Kedah’s socio-economic aspirations.
Also in attendance were members of PKB’s Board of Directors and senior management, who discussed the company’s strategic direction for the 2025/2026 period. Key priorities highlighted during the meeting included the execution of high-impact development projects, the acceleration of digital transformation, and the enhancement of subsidiary performance and governance — all aligned with the broader vision of making Kedah a dynamic, resilient, and investment-ready state.
The visit concluded with a group photo session involving all PKB staff and a brief but meaningful tour of the organisation’s operational facilities. The presence and encouragement of the Chief Minister left a resounding impact on the team, igniting a renewed spirit of purpose and unity across the organisation.
With this renewed sense of direction and strong leadership synergy, PKB remains steadfast in its commitment to driving innovation, delivering value, and playing a pivotal role in shaping a future-ready Kedah.
