Ohio Republican gubernatorial hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy almost drops boy at rally

Ohio Republican gubernatorial hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy almost dropped a boy after trying to lift him up during a rally.

During an appearance in Vandalia on Saturday (October 3) alongside President Donald Trump, Ramaswamy spotted two youngsters in the crowd with a sign saying ‘proud military kid for Trump.’

After inviting the pair on stage, Ramaswamy attempted to lift the boy, who described himself as ten years old and called Hunter, to the lectern’s microphone but struggled to hold him.

Ramaswamy is currently locked in a close battle to become governor with Democrat Dr Amy Acton.
