Oil companies to lower pump prices on Sept. 1

MANILA, Philippines — After two consecutive weeks of price increases, oil companies will lower the cost of fuel on Tuesday, September 1.

Shell said it will reduce diesel and kerosene prices by P3.80 per liter, and gasoline by P0.30 per liter.

Meanwhile, Seaoil said that it will cut the prices of diesel by P3.83 per liter, kerosene by P3.84 per liter and gasoline by P0.32 per liter.

Last week, diesel prices increased by up to P2.31 per liter, gasoline by up to P1.08 per liter, and kerosene by P0.95 per liter.
