SANDAKAN: The price of crude palm oil (CPO) has fallen since last month and this has somewhat affected the smallholders.

Elopura Assemblyman Calvin Chong said based on what was reported to the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) by palm oil mills, the price of CPO was RM4,063 per tonne last month.

“Based on this, the price of Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) hovers around RM750 to RM800 per tonne.
